The item Card

Visualize all of your item’s information in a single location within the Updates Section by using the Item Card! This fantastic feature works by collecting data from your item’s columns and displaying it in the form of a card, sparing you time and allowing you to see all of the pertinent data about your item.

Set up the Item Card

The Item Card is located in the Item View Center. To reach this Section, access the Updates section for any item and select “Add View.” Locate the Item Card in the Item Views Center and click “Add to item” to begin.

Once the Item Card has been attached to your item, a new tab will appear in your Updates Section:

Customize the Item Card

The Item Card can be completely modified to display the precise item information you require! To access the Item Card settings, select settings from the three-dot menu located in the upper right corner of the card.

Once you enter the Item Card settings, you will see a list of the board’s columns. Check the boxes next to the columns you wish to display on the card or uncheck the box to remove a column.

Add additional widgets

The Item Card collects data from your columns and the Emails & Activities application and displays it in a simple yet robust card view. You can add various components to the Item Card by adding additional elements from which you can choose.

If you select the blue “Add widget” icon, you will be presented with the following widget options:

Upon clicking the widget’s name, a dynamic widget block will be added to your Item Card. Read on to learn more about the available widgets and how they can support your work!

Available widget types

1. Information

The basis of the Item Card is the information display. This is the widget that loads by default when the Item Card is added. This widget allows you to observe all columns on your board at once.

2. Text

This option allows you to add a widget that displays all Text Column fields on your item. To select the columns displayed in this widget, click the eye icon in the widget’s upper-right corner and check the boxes next to the columns you wish to display.

3. Connected boards

If your board contains a Connect Boards column, you can add a widget that displays the items connected from other boards. When you install this widget, “No connected boards were chosen” will be displayed. To select a connected board, click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the widget, then select “Settings” and check the box(es) next to the board(s) you wish to display.

4. Subitems

Add this widget to the Item Card to display the item’s subitems. Using this widget, you can also modify the information in the columns of your subitems.

5. Emails & Activities

If you haven’t encountered it yet, the Emails & Activities app is a potent method to manage all of your CRM communication and activities in a single location. If you add the widget to your board, you will not have to swap tabs to access the application.

6. Git UI

The GitHub UI app, which is exclusive to the SalesTitan dev product, enables you to examine data from your GitHub repositories and displays all of your GitHub branches, commits, pull requests, and the CI/CD status for each of your development tasks, directly in your Item Card!

Organize your widgets

The format of your Item Card is completely malleable! To adjust the scale of any widget on your item card, hover over it and then click the blue dot in the lower right corner:

You can also arrange the widgets however you see fit! Select the handlebar in the upper left corner while hovering over the widget to reposition it within the card.

The widgets you add and their arrangement will apply to all Item Cards on the board.

Note: For the time being, the arrangement of columns within a widget will mirror the order of columns on your board. Although it is not presently possible to rearrange columns within a widget, we are working to make this possible. Stay current!

Voilà! We hope your custom Item Card makes you feel empowered.
