There are 6 different places where you can receive notifications from SalesTitan:
- The SalesTitan inbox
- The bell icon
- Your email
- Desktop notifications
- Slack
- Mobile notifications

The SalesTitan Inbox
The Inbox is a place where you will find all the updates from boards you subscribe to. Irrespective that you are being specifically mentioned in that update or assigned to a particular item or task. It’s like a news feed through which you can keep yourself updated on every activity your team does on specific boards.
You can unsubscribe anytime if you do not wish to receive updates for a specific board.
The bell icon
The bell icon is where you receive all of the information that’s specifically relevant to you.
You will receive bell notifications when someone…
- Crowns you as an admin on the account
- Assigns you to an item in a People column
- Mentions you in an update or a reply to an update
- Mentions a team you are a part of in an update
- Replies to an update you wrote
- Subscribes you to an item or board
- Deletes an item or board you are subscribed to
- Archives an item or board you are subscribed to
You will also receive Bell notifications for any automations you have activated on your board (keep reading below to learn more).
Email notifications
By default, Each new user will have all email notifications enabled, but you can alter this in your profile settings:
You will receive email notifications when someone…
- Assigns you to an item
- Replies to your update
- Updates an item you’re an owner of
- Updates an item you’re subscribed to
- Replies on a conversation you’re a part of
- Signs up after you invited them
- Does not sign up after you invited them
- Mentions you in a post or reply
- Subscribes you to a Board/item/Team
- Signs up with an email address from your account domain
You have the flexibility to customize your notification preferences according to your needs! Whether you prefer to receive fewer emails or have all your SalesTitan notifications sent to your email, you can easily manage this in your avatar’s “my profile” section.

Notifications with Automations & Integrations
- Notifications with automations
You can now expand and customize the email and bell notifications you and your colleagues received using SalesTitan automations! Simply specify the trigger (the required action) and choose who you want to notify. Here are some examples of automated notifications that can now be created on your boards:

- Notifications with integrations
Additionally, using SalesTitan integrations with Twilio, you can choose to send and receive SalesTitan notifications via SMS. You have the option between the following scenarios:

Desktop notifications
You can receive desktop pop-up notifications to never miss an important message. They can be extremely useful if you’re working outside of SalesTitan but still want to know when something requires your attention.
To enable desktop notifications, just follow these steps-
- Click on your Profile Picture
- Click the Notifications tab
- Click “Enable desktop notifications.“
Follow the same steps and select “Disable desktop notifications” to disable desktop notifications. In this article, you can learn more about desktop notifications.
Receive notifications in Slack.
Do you frequently communicate with your colleagues via Slack? Since you frequently check Slack, wouldn’t it be fantastic if you could also view your critical SalesTitan notifications there? You can configure an integration that displays the most pertinent SalesTitan notifications within Slack!
Follow the instructions below to configure Slack Notifications:
- Click on your Profile Picture
- Click the Notifications tab
- Click “Enable Slack notifications.“
Mobile notifications
The fourth location to receive notifications is through iOS and Android applications on your mobile device. These alerts function similarly to other app alerts you may receive on your device. The push notifications you would receive on your mobile device would be equivalent to your bell alerts. Here you can find out more about our mobile devices.
Mute board notifications
We do not always wish to be notified of activity in every board we subscribe to. We’ve made things considerably more convenient for you. You now have the option to silence board-specific notifications. You can minimize notifications directly from the board or from your bell notifications window!
Mute from the notification
Open your notifications window by clicking the bell icon. You can then select the three dots to view and manage all notifications from the board that sent the notification. Continue reading to learn more about these settings.
Mute from the board
Click the menu with three dots in the upper right corner of the board. Select “Board notifications” from the menu dropdown as displayed below:
Next, select your desired configuration:

- Mute all notifications alerts
- Receive alerts just when you are named or assigned (both individually and for your team).
- Get every notification
You can also mute notifications for all board members if you are the board proprietor by toggling the mute button, as shown below.
