About Shareable Boards
Shareable Boards are boards that you can make available to visitors from the outside, such as freelancers, clients, contractors, lawyers, and graphic designers. It helps you keep track of both your and their progress because it enables you to work together on certain projects with your outside users without granting them access to your entire account.
Creating a Shareable Board
Click the +Add button at the bottom left of your screen, then select “New Board” to create a shareable board.
You will then have the option of making your board public, shareable, or private.
Why are they useful?
Shareable Boards are only able to be used and seen by their subscribers and guests. Shareable boards are designed to let you share projects with outside visitors without giving them access to your entire account.
Note: Administrators within the Enterprise Plan are able to see all details of a shareable board, including items such as Name, subscribers, and creation date, via the content directory.
Guests to the shareable boards will only be able to see boards that you are sharing with them. Access to other boards will not populate for these users. This is an example of what a guest account may look like.
Attached is an example of what your clients can and cannot do.
On which plan are Shareable Boards included?
Our standard plan includes the use of Shareable Boards. On the standard plan, you have the ability to invite up to three additional guests at no charge.
Further guests will be counted and added to your billing plan.
The number of guests you receive is infinite if you upgrade to the pro package. See this post for additional details on the guest pricing.
Requesting access to a Shareable Board
If you came across a shareable board you do not have access to then you will receive the following message below. You can click the blue “Request access” button as shown below to immediately request access to the Shareable Board:
By pressing this button, you’ll let the board owner(s) of this Shareable Board know that you’ve asked for access. Board owners can give you access to this Shareable Board if they’d like by clicking the notification and going to the subscribers page. For further questions, please visit out Knowledge Center.
