How to add an item

There are a few different ways that you can add a new item to your board! Let’s check them out below.

Each row or line within a group in SalesTitan boards is an “item.” Groups are made up of these individual items, and the content within each item is customizable and entirely dependent on the purpose and plan of the board. Depending on your specific workflow, they can represent various things, from projects to weekly tasks, clients, locations, or anything else!

  • You can add a new item to the top of a group by clicking into the box which says “+” to the right of any group name.  After that you can type out the items name directly and press enter.

 Note: The article below contains additional information regarding the limit of 10,000 items per board that applies to our Business plan.

 

Duplicating an item

To create a duplicate of an item on your board, you can access the item menu on the left, then choose “Duplicate,” and decide whether you want to duplicate it along with its updates or not. Another way to duplicate an item is by selecting the checkbox located next to the item name and then clicking on “Duplicate” in the bottom pane that appears.

Tip:  You may want to consider using batch actions to apply changes to multiple items simultaneously!

Deleting an item

You may also opt to delete an item by accessing the item menu and choosing “Delete” or by selecting the checkbox situated to the left of the item name and clicking “Delete” on the option bar.  This will also allow you to bulk delete items.

If you mistakenly delete an item, don’t worry; you can restore it within 30 days from the Recycle Bin. Alternatively, you can archive an item instead of deleting it if you want to restore it later. 

Editing an item

At any point in time, you can modify the name of a task or project item. To do so, just hover over the item name, click on it, and make your desired edits.

Changing the height of your item

Are lengthy item names causing inconvenience in quickly grasping the content? Are you tired of hovering over each item to read the details? You can customize the item height to your preference, which can help you view as much or as little information as desired.

To modify the item height, navigate to the board header and access the three-dot menu. From there, select “Item height” and choose the preferred size from the available options.

Note: If you alter the item height on a board, the modification will only be visible to you as a team member. Other team members will continue to see the default single height.
