The Map View is here to help ease the stress and effort of location logistics management! 🗺

Add a Location or Country Column

So, first things first. If you add a Location Column or a Country Column to your board, the Map View will display the locations discovered in those columns. 😊

Add a Map View to a board.

To include the Map View into your board, use the “Add View” button at the very top of your screen. Choose “Map” from the Views Center’s “More views” menu. All the places you’ve marked on your board will appear on the map. Board groups are represented on the map by different colored markers:

Additionally, there is a button labeled “Board Power-Ups” in the top right corner of the screen that will allow you to add a new board view. Through the Views Center’s “Board Views” menu, choose “Map”

Add a Map View widget to a Dashboard

Select “+ Add widget” and then “Widgets Center” to add the Map View widget to your Dashboard or Dashboard View. Look for the “Map” widget and install it.

Tip: It has never been easier to arrange data on a map. on addition to supporting data from subitems and mirror columns, the Map View widget is useful for showing information from many boards on a Dashboard.

Add and edit items directly from the map!

Select a marker on the map, then click “View Item” to access the item edit screen, where you may enter or change details directly. You can make edits to the item without switching between the Main Table View and the Map View thanks to the item’s pop-up view.

Click the “+ Add” button in the upper left corner of the Map View to create a new item, and then fill out the appropriate fields in the pop-up window that appears.

Set a default zoom level

You may now choose your map’s default zoom level to ensure that your markers are always shown at the optimal scale. Select your desired zoom level in the “Zoom Level” section of Settings (accessible through the cogwheel in the map’s top right corner). You may choose a zoom level anywhere from 1 (the broadest) to 22 (the smallest). Your map’s default value will remain at this point.
