Uploading files to SalesTitan

Note: Unlike other integrations, Google Drive, Dropbox, Box.com, and OneDrive do not require configuration in the Integration Center. Read on to discover how!

SalesTitan supports  two methods for uploading files and documents:

  • The Files Column
  • The Files Manager

Let’s explore each of them!

1. The Files Column

The Files Column is a feature that enables you to upload various types of files to a dedicated column on your board. To add a file to a column cell, simply click on the cell and select the preferred method of adding the file.

See the different options for adding files.

  • From your computer/desktop
  • From a link
  • From Google Drive
  • From external platforms, including OneDrive, Box, Dropbox, and SharePoint
  • Directly create a new SalesTitan Workdoc from the Files Column

After adding your files, you will notice that they appear as small icons in the column. To preview a file, simply hover your mouse over it. A preview of the file will appear, allowing you to quickly view its contents without having to open it.

2. File Manager

Note:  When you opt to upload a file using this method, please note that it will be saved exclusively in the Files Gallery. If you upload a file and mark it as “unlisted,” it will not appear in the Files Column or the Updates Section of the corresponding item.

Download Files

You can zip up numerous items posted to one items Column item! Click the download link on any file in the Files Column or Files Gallery View. From there, you can hit “Download file” to obtain the current file or “Download all as zip” to download all the files in the item as a zip file.

Limitations

The maximum file size allowed per item is 50MB. If you encounter file size limitations while uploading, you can either compress your files into a zip file and upload it, or use alternative cloud storage services such as Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, or OneDrive to upload your files. Our system does not currently have the capability to support HTML files. To upload large files, we recommend compressing them into a zip file before uploading. This will make the upload process faster and more efficient.

Tip: To avoid repeatedly uploading the latest version of your document, it is recommended that you copy and paste a link from Dropbox, Google Drive, Box, or OneDrive if you anticipate making frequent edits to your file.
