When you simply want to share one or two boards with someone but don’t want to allow them access to view all of your Main Boards, adding a guest to your account might be helpful. Visitors are external users like freelancers, clients, contractors, attorneys, graphic designers, etc. Visitors cannot access information on Main or Private Boards; they can only be invited to Shareable Board/s.  Note:  A visitor needs a unique email address. A visitor won’t be permitted to join as a guest if their email address matches that of the person who originally established their account.

 

How to invite a guest

Step 1 

You must first establish a Shareable Board in order to add a visitor to your account. You may share tasks and projects with others outside of your team using Shareable Boards.

Step 2

After that, choose the people symbol in the upper right corner of your shared board.

The guest list will be on the right side of the window that opens and will display the team subscribers on the board.

Step 3

The person you wish to invite as a guest should provide their email address so that they may get an invitation to join only that board. You may invite guests to additional shareable boards on the account once you’ve added them to a shared board. Unless they are expressly invited to the other shared boards, they won’t be able to access them.
