The item pop-up card

The item pop-up card is an incredible utility that enables you to modify the column details of your board objects from other locations! It is currently accessible via the Connect Boards Column, widgets such as the Timeline, Gantt, Kanban, and Workload, to mention a few, as well as My Work and other locations.

How it works

The item pop-up card enables viewing and editing of all column details for a specific item. You can modify its content by clicking on any displayed field (column)!

Connect Boards Column

The Connect Boards Column makes linking a column on one board to the objects on another simple. Once the items have been linked between the two boards, selecting any cell within the Connect Boards Column will display the pop-up card for the linked item, as shown below.

Any modifications you make here will also be reflected on the connected item in the board where it “lives”!

My Work

My Work is a fantastic method to see everything you and your team need to complete for your account in a centralized location. It operates by accumulating all assigned items and centralizing them according to their due date in a single location. Check out this article for more information

To access the pop-up card for an object, merely hover over the item’s name and select “Open.”

This pop-up will display all relevant information for this item. You can amend information in the pop-up, which will automatically refresh the board the item pertains to. 

The Kanban view

Kanban is a highly adaptable, visual, and straightforward method for organizing projects and tasks and is one of the most widely used project management techniques to date.

If you click on any of the tasks displayed in your Kanban, the item card will automatically open. This pop-up allows you to readily alter your item, and the changes will be reflected automatically on your board.
