Choose your chart type

Use our chart collection to build stunning charts. We have the charts you need, whether you want a pie chart, a stacked chart, or simply any chart! Choose the following chart type from the options menu:

Customize your chart

Select the breakdown of your chart after choosing the chart type. Let’s review a few instances of the most well-liked charts.

  • Pie Chart

Choose the labels for the pie chart depending on the various column kinds on your board. Say we are in charge of handling creative demands. To display the request numbers split down by category, we may select to organize the chart according to the requested category:

You may choose whatever values from your board’s Numbers Columns you want to highlight. For instance, it is simple to examine the typical number of requests we get for each type of creative request:

  • Bar graph

Choose the x-axis for the bar graph from the many column kinds on your board. For instance, if we choose “Status,” the chart’s x-axis will display the various status labels from our Status Column:

Choose the monetary amount or any other column from your board for the y-axis. You may choose as many different numbers as you wish. For instance, we are contrasting the number of requests that have already been processed with the total number of requests received:

  • Line graph

Choose the x-axis for the line graph from the many column kinds on your board. Choose the monetary amount or any other column from your board for the y-axis:

You may arrange the x and y axes in either ascending or descending order to further personalize your graph. Simply choose your options in the “More settings” column under “Sort by”:

  • Stacked graph

You may choose your X and Y axis to represent the data of your choosing, similar to a bar graph. Let’s assume we want to know how many requests there are in each category. Once finished, we may stack it according to the requester:

Add a benchmark and cumulative data

You may choose to present your chart as cumulative data in this mode as well. This is especially helpful if you want to track your development over time. Each month will feature the current month in addition to all prior months. For instance, if you work on a sales team, you may use this chart to indicate how sales have changed over the course of the last three months or a year:

Add a calculation

Are you curious about the typical expenses, time demands, or travel distance in your groups? Perhaps the maximum or total in a certain column? You may make your chart include a total, average, median, min, or max calculation, however! Any chart type and any column or group may use it. Choose the labels for your chart based on the groups or columns on your board, and then choose a Numbers Column on which to apply the function. Simply choose the function you wish to compute after that!

For example, in the animation up above, we’re trying to figure out how far on average each of our delivery vans travels! The “Vehicle” Status Column was chosen as the “Labels,” the “Travel Distance” Numbers Column as the “Values,” and then we decided to “Average” these values. We can now see in the pie chart sections how far on average each car travels!

Sort your chart

By choosing whether you want your data to appear graphically on your graph in ascending or descending order, you may further personalize your graph:

Group your dates

You may choose how you want the dates grouped by clicking on the “Choose Groups” dropdown menu!
