How to share projects with guests?

Inviting a guest to your account can be beneficial if you only need to share specific boards with someone without giving them access to all of your Main Boards. Guests are external individuals like contractors, clients, freelancers, graphic designers, and lawyers. They are only permitted to join Shareable Boards and, as a result, cannot access information on Private or Main Boards.  Note:  If a person you want to invite as a guest has the same email domain as the original account creator, they will not be able to join as a guest. Guests must have a different email domain.
 

How to invite a guest

Step 1 

If you want to add a guest to your account, the first step is to create a Shareable Board. Shareable Boards enable you to share tasks and projects with people outside your team.

Step 2

Next, click on the people icon located on the top right of your shareable board. 

Once you open the Shareable Board, a window displaying the team subscribers’ access to the board will appear. You will see the list of guests on the right side of the window.

Step 3

To add a guest to a shareable board, enter the guest’s email address and send them an invitation to join. Once the guest is added to the shareable board, they can also be added to other shareable boards on the account. However, the guest will only be able to see the shareable boards they have been invited to and will not have access to other boards on the account.

 Important Note:  If the email domain of the guest is the same as the email domain of the account creator, the guest cannot be added as a guest. A guest can only be added if their email domain differs from the email domain of the account creator.
